1. Ride Schedule

Reminder tomorrow 13 Dec is the 2nd Tues of the month

 WAITANGI BIKEPARK ride.  Depart carpark 6:00pm SHARP.

2017

January           No ride

February         Whangarei Bike Park visit – details to follow

March             Suggestions requested – who knows of a great ride we should do?

April 8/9         Far North Saga.

Broad plan is to take tents up to Tapotupotu DoC camp for the weekend.

Full ride will be:

Saturday – Spirits Bay – Pandora – Tapotupotu for night

Sunday – Tapotupotu – Cape Reinga – Twilght Bch – Te Paki Stream – drive home

Proposed ride for juniors

Saturday -  Pandora Track from SH1 to Tapotupotu

Sunday – Cape Reinga – Te Werahi Bch – out to SH 1

Easy riders ride on 1st and 3rd Sunday each month

Forest road ride from Gravel pit on Inlet Rd; ~1.5 hrs

All welcome; easy pace; optional coffee after

09:00 start

Well there were reportedly a few timing issues though the Strava system but great effort from Richard organising it.

1st Overall Adam Pilling - and 1st junior

1st Senior   Richard Pilling - and 2nd overall

1st Woman  Michelle Robinson

Next up an Enduro type event – details to follow from Richard in the New Year....

Good turnout and it looked as tho most people enjoyed themselves - especially the ones who fell in getting to the checkpoint on the raft in the lake.......!
