Kerikeri Mountain Bike Club is proud to be the most awesome Mountain Bike club for miles around!

We have an excellent knowledge of local mountain biking opportunities and our members help to build a vibrant MTB community in the Bay of Islands. We foster skills development, with encouragement and challenge in a social environment.

We build and maintain a network of hand-crafted tracks in local forests, host weekly group rides, events and activities. The club is affiliated to Mountain Bike NZ and Cycling NZ.

Thanks to outstanding support from Summit Forests the club is developing a riding area in Whitehills Forest, unlike any other in Northland. Hand-crafted and machine built tracks, for intermediate to expert riders, weave through plantation and native forest. Covering a range of terrain, there is an adventure around every corner.

CLUB RIDES  Winter 2022 - All Club rides based at Whitehills Forest

Rides are suitable for riders who have a reasonable level of fitness and are flexible to cater for a mix of abilities. Riders on Tuesday Club Rides need to be at least 16 years old or accompanied by a parent or adult who has agreed to take responsibility for them. During the  winter months we usually ride for a couple hours and decent MTB lights are essential for eveing rides.
